TLB miss rates are typically far lower than L1 cache miss rates. How can this be, considering that TLB sizes are typically much, much smaller than L1 caches?
In the book, the bits used to select the super page are farther to the left than the bits to select the 2nd-level page. Would the system still work as well if we placed the SPN to the RIGHT of the 2PN? Why or why not?
