The reading over the last two days is _definitely_ a lot. It's hard to understand everything perfectly given the time constraints. However K&R is an excellently written book, and very easy to follow. It is _far_ superior to the Java textbook used in CS61B, or, for that matter, the esoteric tome known to all as SICP.
