Structs seem kind of like OOP because it reminds me of classes and objects.  Perhaps it's the ancestor of OOP? oooooh... aaaahhhh...  Anyways, the reading isn't too confusing.  However, a few chapters back they introduced bitwise or.  It seemed simple enough, but they used octal insted of binary in their example.  It was confusing.
