there's alot like if, while, for, ?, etc. In MIPS there are less like beq, loop, slt, because everything that needed to be done can be done with those those MIPS decision maker.  MIPS has less instructions for making decision because it is meant to be ran fast, and let the software worry writing functions that the programmer needs.
