Answer from cs61c-al (Phillip Chin 16156822) for Question 1 An example of spatial locality is shopping. Let's take school shopping for example. In the store, all the supplies are grouped together (ie pencils, pens, paper, etc). Say you only need paper, but you find you might need writing utencils as well and buy those. Instead of having to go to the store to get these items, you purchase them so you own them and have quick access to them. An example of temporal locality is carrying around a cell phone. You talk on it and keep in on you because it can be used frequently, instead of leaving it at home where it will not serve its purpose.
