With fixed-sized pages, you don't need to find a contiguous block of memory to allocate a program.  Thus, the OS only needs to find a sufficient number of pages in main memory.
Bigger page sizes allows more data to be loaded at a time, thereby reducing accesses to disk.
Smaller page sizes allows for more pages.
