Exam Regrading Policies: (7/10/2005) 1. Absolutely no re-grading requests until the solutions are posted. 2. The entire exam will be re-graded, so make sure that your score will actually increase. 3. To submit a request with a type-written, detailed description of exactly which part of the test you think was misgraded to Jeff. Complaint/Regrading Policies/Deadlines: (8/1/2005) In order to avoid a mass of grading complaints after the summer is over, we have a system of deadlines for complaints on particular assignments. Here's the schedule: assignments posted complaint deadline MT1,2 HW1-5 LAB1-6 PROJ1-2 now F 8/05/2005 LAB7 Tu 8/02/2005 F 8/05/2005 LAB8 Tu 8/09/2005 W 8/10/2005 HW6 Tu 8/02/2005 F 8/05/2005 HW7 M 8/08/2005 Th 8/11/2005 HW8 Th 8/11/2005 F 8/12/2005 PROJ3 Tu 8/09/2005 Th 8/11/2005 PROJ4 ? ? MT3 Tu 8/09/2005 Th 8/11/2005 The complaint deadline is the deadline to get any _applicable F2F grading done_, as well as the deadline to complain about incorrect or missing grades. There will be no F2F grading for HW8. Note that these are the deadlines for you to file grade complaints, not the deadlines for us to respond! But we'll try to respond to all complaints within a few days. This is a tight schedule, but it's necessary in order to get the problems resolved before the final exam, which is Friday 8/12. Under no circumstances will we consider any grading complaints made after these deadlines. To make a complaint, send email to the relevant staff member (probably the person listed as 'reader' in glookup). This includes complaints for missing grades as well as grades you consider inaccurate.
